Islam is a religion for all mankind, not confined to any one single race alone. The Light given by Allah is for the guidance of mankind in order that they can follow the Straight Path of Allah and earn good rewards in this World and the Hereafter. Allah says:
"O mankind! Verily, there has come to you a convincing proof from your Lord, and we sent down to you a manifest light." (The Holy Qur'an 4:174).
Allah says: "Light on light! Allah guides to His Light whom He wills." (The Holy Qur'an 24:35).
For many years, because of the misleading propaganda towards Islam brought about by some unscrupulous or unwitting news media , the religion has been misconceived as aggressive, warlike, terrorist and polygamous so that people tend to stay away from it, or don't even bother to know the least bit about it. Such wrong
accusations are of course very unfair to Islam. However, history will confirm that the Light of Allah can never be extinguished. Allah says: "They intend to put out the Light of Allah with their mouths. But Allah will complete His Light even though the disbelievers hate it." (The Holy Qur'an 61:8).
